On Saturday, we had planned on taking the kids to
Hunsader Farms, but the weather didn't look too promising. So, we opted to stay close by. It took us awhile to find a "pumpkin patch," but finally we arrived. The boys and Eden had such a good time looking at all of the different shapes and sizes of the pumpkins and I had a blast catching some great memories!
My oldest "little" pumpkin!
Being so big, he thought he could lift it all by himself, but quickly discovered he needed some help from his Daddy!
My second little pumpkin!
He gave some of the best expressions ever!
And, like Collin tried to lift one all by himself!
Eden had a great time exploring all the new things with her Daddy.
Right before we got out of the car, some water spilled all over Eden's shirt. I was so bummed because I was sure it would "ruin" the pictures.
Not to worry, the soft focus feature and one really cute little pumpkin completely distract the eyes from ever noticing!
She really liked this one!
All those great big pumpkins and this is what the boys found the most interesting!
Here are the ones that they just "had to have!"
A little too small for carving, but maybe we'll paint them up!
I had to take some pictures of some of the interesting stuff we saw too.
Check out this one!
The "pumpkin patch" was attached to a great fresh produce market. I thought the colors on these peppers were so brilliant and definitely worthy of being captured!
The highlight for the boys (and probably us too) was the fresh strawberry shortcake they were selling at the produce stand. Strawberry shortcake is one of my favorite desserts EVER!
Collin taking a bite...
...Griffin waiting for his turn!
and finally getting a little taste. He opted to eat the ice cream and cool whip only, since he still doesn't like fruit!!! Any pointers?! Boy, he is missing out!!

After the pumpkin festivities, we took a trip to Toys r Us. Griffin has been holding on to some money for awhile and wanted to splurge on a couple of things. He found this awesome Diego puzzle and decided he wanted to get it. He enjoys puzzles so much!!
Check it out- 48 pieces, just 2 years old- and wallah, it's done!
I'm such a proud Mommy!!
