Cookies on Thanksgiving Eve?

In our family, each person typically brings a couple of dishes to our big Thanksgiving feast. This year, the boys wanted in on that tradition so on Thanksgiving Eve we made leaf cookies to take to our family gathering.
Collin was ready to get to work!
Griffin enjoyed the rolling pin!
Daddy got his hands dirty too! :-)
Then it was time for the sprinkles- notice the very fall green, yellow and orange ones we found! Griffin went first, using spoon to scatter them all about. Check out the results:
Can you say "Have a little cookie with your sprinkles?" ha!!
We quickly switched to the Mommy controlled sprinkle method!!
It worked soo much better!

You know, the funny thing is that I have never considered the "mommy ration". I always handed then over to Caroline and away she went. This would explain the cookies with a solid sprinkle top! You learn something every day!
