A Night on the Town!

We got started a bit late on this particular evening in Miami, so all the kids were in strollers!! Collin was so tired, he didn't even put up a fight- and for a 3 year old, you know that's a big deal!!

We ended up eating dinner at Bongo's Cuban Cafe', whose famous inventor is none other than Gloria Estefan. This was our second time there, so the boys already knew it was going to be loud and of course, that there would be lots of bongo drums to bang on!

Since we got there a little late, about half way through the meal the music got super loud! We were terrified that Eden was going to scared, but she proved to be quite the sport! Too bad we forgot her nice little seat cover- to prevent chewing on less than appealing community high chairs! Since she's teething, we had to pull out the blanket and use it instead! She did have a blast though with her octopus, who kept her company for nearly the entire dining experience!

Griffin was completely enthralled by the straw in his cup of water- the little things, it's always the little things with him!!

Collin spent his time enjoying the crayons with his daddy- that is before one of the biggest meltdowns of his life just as we were leaving! In the end, it doesn't matter how cool the place is, when your 3 and it's super duper late, all you really need is a bed! ;-)
