Hard Days

Well, life with 2 little boys is not always easy. Just as there are happy and joy filled days, there are hard days to face as well. Today was one of those. We went into the hospital at 6 in the morning- Griffin was scheduled for tubes to be placed in his ears, while Collin was going to have his tubes removed and his tonsils taken out. After just a few hours Griffin was back to normal, eating on an ice cream cone with his daddy. Collin had a really rough time. He cried most of the first day and would only let his mommy hold him. Baboo ended up spending the night with us in the hospital, just to help out with Collin. What a blessing that was! Collin's recovery was a little longer, about 2 weeks! Thanks to Grammie, Pop-Pop and Baboo who rescued us in the tough times- and of course to G.G. who provided the countless Wiggles DVD's to help Collin forget how much his throat hurt! In the end, the boys recovered well and were back to themselves- happy and full of energy. In times like these though, we are reminded of how blessed we are to have such precious children and such a wonderful family to help us when the hard days come!
